Well it's every blogger's target to get a good traffic to their blogs. There are many ways you can get traffic pouring into your site. Here are some free traffic sources site:

1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
Search engines return your site URL when visitors search for keywords which can link to your site contents. Powerful and popular search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, Alexa etc have their "Crawling" technology to determine which sites to be shown on the specific search results. 2. Technorati:



You can register free here. All you need to do is to choose a user name, a password and a valid email address. You can add your favourite sites/blogs here and ping for the latest updatesc in your blog posts, which will be shown in their profile. It's a good way to make friends and mingle with them too.

3. MyBlogLog:

It's a Yahoo! service and a splendid place to meet people, read blogs about a lot of topics ranging from politics to women's issues (and what not!) and be member of these communities too. Signing up is easy and free, if you have a Yahoo! account. It's a great source of traffic.
